Media Release – Complete Lifestyle Lures Tower Buyers

RETIREES drawn to the complete package of lifestyle options at the $220 million Victoria Towers have sent sales soaring since Nobel Life were secured as aged care operator for the facility.

Victoria Towers sales manager Jackie Taylor-Fox said the 35-level apartment tower fronting Scarborough Street had secured 22 apartment sales worth more than $11 million in the past few months.

Ms Taylor-Fox said confirmation the development had secured Nobel Life as the in-house aged care operator had buoyed buyers seeking quality and value for their later years.

“We are the first over 50s freehold high-rise development to offer an aged-care facility onsite in Australia,” she said.

“That is a big consideration for retirees who want the peace of mind of knowing there is an in-house option for when living independently becomes too difficult.

“Locking down the aged care provider has always been a critical element, now that Nobel Life has been secured, buyers are keen to secure their investment in long term health and lifestyle.

“Nobel Life also offers optional support such as personal care, laundry and meals to those residents who may need a little help to continue living independently.”

Ms Taylor-Fox said Victoria Towers’ location in the heart of the Southport CBD was another drawcard for purchasers.

“They have major shopping, extensive medical services, public transport and recreational facilities like RSL Club Southport and the spectacular Broadwater Parklands on their doorstep,” she said.

“Southport is poised to become even more vibrant with the completion of the light rail system in sight as well as plans for a Chinatown precinct in nearby Young and Davenport streets.

“Victoria Towers offers the total package for over 50s buyers seeking not only value for money but an exciting lifestyle that is also convenient, comfortable and hassle-free.”

The recent run of sales at Victoria Towers saw buyers zero in on three-bedroom apartments with 10 snapped up for between $700,000 and $825,000.

The remaining 12 sales were shared equally by the tower’s one-bedroom (priced from $333,000 to $353,000) and two-bedroom residences (ranging from $473,000 to $550,000).

Victoria Towers’ apartments offer sweeping views of The Broadwater, Surfers Paradise or the hinterland and are strategically located to capitalise on the growth of Southport.

The tower is located near the light rail line and will be in the hub of activity as the CBD readies for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

A range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments are available from 79sqm to 154 sqm.

Each apartment has a 24/7 connection to emergency assistance, while on-site management ensures the premises are maintained and operated to a high standard.

The project includes three floors of quality aged-care facilities and a state-of-the-art recreational centre for residents featuring an indoor bowling green, professionally equipped gymnasiums both indoors and outdoors, a library, barbecues and dining terrace, plus a lap pool and spa.

The display office and apartments are open seven days a week from 10am – 4pm.
